Weigh-in

Photobucket

So I went to my weigh-in on Tuesday and I stayed the same. I was actually expecting a gain.

I have to confess I haven't been 100% on program the past couple of weeks. Most days I have been within points but there have been a few days here and there where I was STARVING! Seriously! So I kind of went a little crazy a few times. I am pretty sure I stayed within my weekly points but I didn't track and I have also found I can't eat my weeklies and lose.

But I am back on track and focussed again. Billy has been home the past few nights which actually helps me a lot. He distracts me from eating. When I am home here and alone (Ashley is here but he does his own thing) I tend to want to eat. We made sure I had plenty of salad vegies in the house to snack on.

I think one of my problems was I got to my mini goal then didn't set another one for myself and saw that subconscious as an excuse to stray. So my new goal is to reach my 20lb loss by 10th May, that's 6 weeks to lose 4.8lbs. I think I can do it!

My birthday

So it was my 35th birthday on Tuesday. We had plans to go out to eat etc but things didn't turn out that way.

My first present was when I put on the clothes I was planning on wearing and every piece was loose! I was so happy! The skirt was always a little tight and never looked 100% right, now it sits really nicely. The top is almost too big, It gapes at the top, luckily I wore a tank top under it.

I love pink so I really wanted to wear pink on my birthday!

I had my eye on a handbag that I saw when I was out with Andrea a few weeks ago and when I got some money for my birthday I knew what I wanted to spend it on!

It doesn't do the colour justice. I just love it! I love that it's a sling bag which means I can have it with me and still have both arms completely free. Also it is so soft. And big enough for my camera.

My mum sent me some money to get myself some charms for my Pandora bracelet. I have wanted the Owl charm for a while and with the left over money I got a Bow spacer.

I had a good day. I got to spend it with Billy & Ashley, thankfully Billy had the night off.

Barack Obama. I would make him resign.

173. What star sign are you and what is your sign like?
Aries - Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, and that's pretty much how those born under this sign see themselves: first. Aries are the leaders of the pack, first in line to get things going. Whether or not everything gets done is another question altogether, for an Aries prefers to initiate rather than to complete. Do you have a project needing a kick-start? Call an Aries, by all means. The leadership displayed by Aries is most impressive, so don't be surprised if they can rally the troops against seemingly insurmountable odds -- they have that kind of personal magnetism. An Aries won't shy away from new ground, either. Those born under this sign are often called the pioneers of the zodiac, and it's their fearless trek into the unknown that often wins the day. Aries is a bundle of energy and dynamism, kind of like a Pied Piper, leading people along with its charm and charisma. The dawning of a new day -- and all of its possibilities -- is pure bliss to an Aries.
