Food Diary 28/07

Daily points allowance - 29

Breakfast:


Breakfast was kind of rushed as we had to go and do some grocery shopping at Target. I didn't even get to finish my iced latte and put it in the fridge for later. Also the bottom half of my banana was all black so I only ate half of it.

1/2 cup Kashi Golean Honey Flax Cereal - 3 points / 100 calories
1/2 cup soy milk - 1 point / 50 calories
1 x Skinny Iced Caramel Latte - 2 points / 80 calories
1/2 small banana - 0 points / 45 calories
1 mulitvitamin

Total = 6 points / 275 calories

Lunch:


We picked up some centre cut bacon at Target so I decided to make BLT's for lunch. With avocado instead of mayo, inspired by Danica's Daily again! It was yummy! Billy really liked his too!

1 x Whole wheat pita pocket - 3 points / 130 calories
2 x rashers centre cut bacon - 2 points / 70 calories
lettuce & tomato - 0 points / 10 calories
15g avocado - 1 point / 20 calories

Total = 6 points / 233 calories

Dinner:


I marinated the chicken breasts in lemon juice, garlic, rosemary and basil then fried it in a tiny bit of canola oil. So yummy!

85g skinless/boneless chicken breast (weighed raw) - 2 points / 83 calories
1/2 cup brown rice cooked - 3 points / 109 calories
1 tsp canola oil - 1 point / 40 calories
broccoli - 0 points / 45 calories
1/8 cup Fat free shredded cheese - 1 point / 23 calories

Total = 7 points / 300 calories

Snacks:

3 strawberries - 0 points / 10 calories
1 x Dannon Vanilla yogurt - 2 points / 80 calories

1 x Fiber One Brownie - 2 points

Salad with arugula, cucumber, carrot, celery & grape tomatoes - 0 points / 75 calories (roughly)
25g Edamame - 1 point / 40 calories
2 Tbsp Thai Peanut Dressing - 1 point / 50 calories

Total = 8 points / 405 calories

Final Total = 24 points / 1213 Calories

I discovered today that my multivitamin provides me with 100% of my Daily recommended iron so I won't be forgetting to take them any more. Today's nutrients:
