Yeeuuuck

So I woke up this morning and I couldn't swallow. My throat was so swollen and closed up it was horrible. Then came the aches and pains and fever and headache.

I am pretty sure it's either strep or tonsillitis. I have had both many times. So I usually can tell.

I had plans this weekend too. I had a Scentsy party to go to with friends I hadn't seen in FOREVER and I was also taking my MIL who I just initiated into the world of Scentsy, giving her a burner for Mother's Day.

We were also going to stop by their house tomorrow for Father's Day, but with me AND Ashley both not well, it ain't going to happen.

I also had plans to scrapbook. I don't even have the energy for that!

I have been tracking and eating well. I was craving fruit and ate a whole cantaloupe/rockmelon today! Lol

I did finish a Layout last night for my MIL's album that I have been working on forever. I am slowly getting it done though. We found a really cute scrapbook store in Salisbury that has classes and stuff which is great.

Well I am going to go get comfy in bed and read.

Food Diary fail

Well this morning started off wonderfully. I made Billy & I these delicious omelettes with ham and goat's cheese. Then a little while later I got very ill. I don't know if it was something in the omelettes as Billy felt fine but I had some real tummy issues.

And lets just say I didn't eat much except dry bread for the rest of the day and night. I didn't track it but I am pretty sure I was under my points, but who knows!

Tomorrow is a new day however!

Getting serious

Ok so I didn't make it to my meeting this morning. I took a sleep aid and went to bed really early, but when Billy got home at around 4am I woke up and then I couldn't get back to sleep. He has had really bad allergies and so I kept hearing him out there sneezing and sniffling.

But I have decided I can't allow myself to use my meeting as an excuse not to get back on track. I have been telling myself I will start again once I go back. But that is stupid and delusional. I need to get back on track NOW!

So from today I will be tracking my food, posting food diaries and weighing myself here at home each morning.

This morning I weighed in at 150.6lb. The last time I recorded my weight at home was on April 26th and it was 144.6. So I have gained 6lb in about 6 weeks or so. I need to get rid of them asap.

Goals for June

Ok so there are a few things I really need to work on this month.

First and foremost is I have to get back on Weight Watchers and fix what I have messed up the past couple of months. I haven't been going to meetings or following the program. I haven't been tracking and I know I have gained about 4-5lb roughly.

So tomorrow morning I am getting up and going to face the music.

Second of all I really have to start scrapbooking again. I have been working on an album for my MIL for like 2 years now and I have to finish it and give it to her. I felt the mojo come back today but I sat there staring at the photos for like an hour and nothing came to me. I wish I had scrappy friends that I could hang out with and get some help. But I will continue to try.

Third, I need to take more photos. I have been great at my 365, not 1 day missed so far. That is pretty good I think. But I want to take photos of other things. So I will try to do that too.

Wish me luck for my goals. The first one is the most important. I really need to get under control again or I will end up gaining it all back and being miserable again.

Thrift Store finds

I have been meaning to post about this forever. Ever since I started losing weight, I have been a frequent shopper at thrift stores. It's amazing what you can find in them for next to nothing. Here are some things I have found recently.

These I found at Value Village. I can't remember the price of all of them, but most things are between $2.50 - $5.50

I think this skirt will look really cute with a black sweater, tights and black books in winter. Size 4 Signature by Larry Levine. It is in brand new condition, fully lined.

Here are some things I got at Goodwill recently:

I got this dress as a laugh mainly for my 365 project and I didn't even think it would fit me. It was $4.50. But funnily enough I got it home and it fit me perfectly as you can see in the photo below it. No size tag.

I don't normally look at second hand shoes, cause well people's feet have been in them. But as I was walking out I saw this pair of Nine West heels and they have hardly any wear on the sole and they were $3.50 and I really liked them. So I thought, hell why not!

So that's my thrift store haul these past few weeks. Today I spent $18 and got 3 pairs of shorts (I didn't take a photo of one pair as they are for around the house) a sweater dress and a pair of shoes. Not bad!
